"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you."

In-Office and Telehealth Counseling

My specialty is working with teens, college-aged, and young adults as transitions and experiences during these stages of life can be hard to manage.

It feels like everyone has everything together, but you are overwhelmed. Juggling school and/or work, social obligations, other responsibilities, friends, dating relationships, and family dynamics can often seem to be too much. I hope to give you helpful skills and tools to minimize your level of stress.

Are you new to or nervous about counseling? For a lot of people, counseling can be intimidating, overwhelming, or even uncomfortable. I want to help you feel more at ease while discussing the challenges you are facing. Being vulnerable and open is extremely tough. I really admire your courage for wanting to explore and potentially make a change.

I use an eclectic framework for counseling including Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, Strength-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Topics addressed in a session can range from life's daily stressors, anxiety, and relationship issues to past/current trauma and crisis.

Other issues that I work with in my practice, but are not limited to, include:

  • Body Image

  • Coping Skills

  • Depression

  • Divorce

  • Family Conflict

  • Life Coaching

  • Peer Relationships

  • School Issues

  • Self-Esteem

  • Sexual Abuse

  • Stress

  • Suicidal Ideation
