About Amy
My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and never judged.
I work with people who are thoughtful, self-aware, and often the “strong one” in their circle, but who feel tired, anxious, or like they’ve lost touch with themselves. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to the work we do together.
I really prioritize building a trusting, supportive relationship with each of my clients and supervisees. Each session will be tailored to meet your unique needs. We also will explore the deeper connections between past experiences and current challenges as negative events and relationships can shape how we view ourselves and the world.
I am originally from Memphis, TN and have lived in Nashville, TN, Rockville, MD, and now Oceanside, CA. I love exploring new neighborhoods, restaurants, and festivals. I am a sucker for sports, reality tv, and documentaries. And, I really enjoy volunteering in the community (have previously been part of CASA, The Sexual Assault Center, and Foster Care Review Board with Davidson County Juvenile Court).
I truly admire your courage and vulnerability in wanting to explore and process your thoughts and feelings. I look forward to meeting you!
