I specialize in working with those navigating anxiety and major life transitions, particularly people who appear like nothing is wrong on the outside but feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or unsettled on the inside.
Maybe you’re the helper, the peacemaker, the one who goes with the flow…and somewhere along the way, you’ve started to lose sight of who you really are.
My clients often struggle with:
People-pleasing and sometimes too much empathy
Self-criticism and perfectionism
Chronic anxiety or inner pressure
Difficulty asking for help
Big decisions and identity shifts
Specifically:
Young Adults (20s and 30s): Individuals often navigating career choices, relationships, family, identity shifts, or first-time independence, while trying to live up to internal and external expectations.
Those Newer to Therapy: People who’ve held off getting support, often because they’re “functioning,” have trouble asking for help, or have internalized beliefs that they should not need it.
Therapists and Helpers: Fellow therapists or caregivers who intellectually know what they “should” do, but struggle emotionally with the same self-criticism, burnout, or overwhelm they help others navigate.
Other Areas of Focus:
Coping Skills
Crisis
Dating
Family Conflict
LGBTQ+
Life Coaching
Peer Relationships
Romantic Relationships
School Issues
Self-Confidence/Self-Esteem
Stress
Trauma

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if it is your first time or you're not quite sure what to expect this time around. That’s completely normal. I work with a lot of people who are just beginning this process or who are wanting to explore in a different way.
Initial Call:
Schedule a free phone consultation where we can get to know each other, and I can answer any questions you may have. If we decide we're a good fit, I’ll send you the intake paperwork and practice policies ahead of our first session.
First Session:
Sessions are 50 minutes long. In our first session, we’ll review the intake paperwork, discuss any concerns or hesitations, and I’ll likely ask more about your background, family dynamics, current issues, and counseling goals to get a complete picture of your needs.
Follow Up Sessions:
To build rapport, trust, and stability, I recommend meeting weekly or bi-weekly at the start of the counseling process.
Each person’s path in therapy is unique, so the duration and frequency of sessions will be tailored to your pace and needs. As we progress, we’ll regularly check in on how you're feeling and adjust goals as necessary. For some, therapy may be a longer journey, while others may find that they can space out sessions as they develop new skills, coping strategies, and awareness. Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel more confident and self-sufficient overall.

I provide support and supervision for those working toward their LPC-MHSP licensure as an approved supervisor in the state of Tennessee. Mentorship for newer therapists has always been a passion of mine.
Being human and being a therapist can be deeply rewarding and challenging, both individually and collectively. My goal is to be a resource and create a safe space where you can ask questions, learn, and show up as your authentic self. Types of things we can discuss in supervision are your career goals, person of the therapist, case consultation, ethical dilemmas, etc.
Supervision is a personalized experience, and I strive to make it fulfilling, collaborative, and valuable for each individual. I'm excited to share what I've learned and continue to discover along the way.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or to see if we might be a good fit.

Therapy:
Each session is $165. I do offer some reduced fee spots, but they are currently full.
Here is a great resource for reduced fee options if helpful:
https://openpathcollective.org
I do not take insurance, but I can provide paperwork (known in the therapy world as a “superbill”) for you to submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network benefits. I encourage you to call your insurance to find what those benefits are.
Supervision:
Each Individual meeting is $125 for 60 Minutes/One Supervision Hour.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
· You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
· Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.
· You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
· If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
· Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019.
